A world of their own

A stone in her heart
And discomfort in her eyes
She made a promise
Never ever to see him again

Amused at her own self
Cocooned in her own world
But missing him deeply
She tries a lot, to cover up the pain

Such is a situation
They both have created
He didn't, but she tried
She tried with her heart, though in vain

Burning silently, craving badly
Yet doing nothing
Trapped in confused destinies
Both deprived, longing for a world of their own.
