Give me a God who is just and fair
Who might by invisible
But gives my answers.
Bring me a God who knows my story
Who knows my hero and my villain
And has a good memory.
Bring me a God who sees it all
Who is neither slow nor late
And acts for one and all.
Give me a God who is strong
Also impartial enough to tell
Why someone's right became my wrong.
